SpectraOne UltraQuiet
brings you a new level of quiet braking performance.
Positive Mold Construction
Completely integrally molded, we employ a positive mold process to each set of UltraQuiet disc brake pads. What makes positive mold so special? Positive mold is a method that applies more pressure during manufacturing. This creates greater mechanical strength, so our engineers can decrease the amount of resins put into our formulations. And, with less resins, we minimize the need for burnishing, significantly decrease brake fade, decrease dust accumulation, and allow for a more consistent product. The secondary benefit is the added ability to include higher quantities of dampening material to decrease noise.
Application Specific Formulations
SpectraOne continues to bring you the best formulations for each application. Along with the several semi-metallic and non-asbestos organic products, UltraQuiet incorporates ceramic formulas into the product line. In recent years, original equipment manufacturers have begun to rely on ceramic formulas for specific braking characteristics. UltraQuiet brings you that technology in applications where it was originally equipped.
Here are some examples of UltraQuiet's application specific materials:

Dampening Agents
- We utilize high-quality constraint layered shims to dampen vibration and eliminate some of the metal-to-metal contact. In some European applications, we use technology of latex shims, which are incorporated into the powder-coat paint.
- For some of the more difficult applications, we include some of the caliper hardware. This added measure minimizes the opportunity for vibration, the primary culprit of brake noise.
- A packet of brake lubricant allows for lubricating contact points, allowing all brake components to move easily in their environment.
SpectraOne PLUS Application Specific Super Premium Disc Brake Pads (SP)
The perfect fit for drivers seeking that extra measure of quiet, comfortable braking performance.
Designed to battle the most difficult brake noise problems. We utilize professional grade friction materials, both semi-metallic and non-asbestos organic formulations, to match the application’s heat requirements. We also include noise dampening multi-layered constraint shims, wear sensors and necessary hardware.
