For these situations, Inwood created the 7000 series formulations, TITAN-EX. Geared for EXTREME conditions, such as emergency vehicles, taxi service, and construction equipment. TITAN-EX provides a rigid semi-metallic compound, using a "Positive Mold" process, for your toughest applications. This compound provides minimal fade and long-lasting results. Special high temperature, noise-dampening shims help curb vibration. All sets include slotting*, chamfering*, constraint layered shims, and attached hardware.

In our continuing effort to bring you better friction materials, Inwood has developed Ceramic. We have utilized technology from U.S. and European original equipment materials to bring quiet, low dust vehicle braking.

Ceramic does not contain steel fibers or non-asbestos organic materials. Instead, the formula uses its ability to handle higher temperature ranges and durability to provide original equipment braking performance. To ensure quiet stopping, all sets include slotting*, chamfering*, constraint layered shims, and attached hardware.
